Production Process of Aluminium U Profile:

1. Die Preparation

The extrusion die, typically made from high-grade steel like H13, is meticulously crafted to the required profile shape. The die is then preheated to temperatures between 450°C and 500°C. This preheating ensures uniform metal flow during extrusion and extends the die’s lifespan.

2. Billet Preheating

The aluminum billet, a solid cylindrical block, is preheated in an oven to temperatures between 400°C and 500°C. This step makes the billet malleable enough to flow through the die without melting.

3. Loading the Billet

The preheated billet is loaded into the extrusion press. Lubricants are applied to the billet and the ram to prevent aluminum from sticking to the die and press surfaces.

4. Extrusion

A hydraulic ram applies extreme pressure (up to 15,000 tons), forcing the aluminum billet to flow through the die’s shaped opening. As pressure is exerted, the billet material expands and flows through the die, creating a fully formed profile with a uniform cross-section.

5. Quenching and Cooling

While a protective film will be stuck on the Aluminium Profile visible surface,  a heat shrink film o craft paper will be used to cover the outside. Customized packing is also available.

Delivery:

1. Die development of The Aluminium Profile: 15-25 days after payment is received and drawings are confirmed.

2. Production time of The Aluminium Profile: 25-30days after the deposit is received and samples are confirmed.
